Psyche Inspired: "PsycheBot, Roll Out!"
3D printed white resin, acrylic paint
April 2024

My fourth and final work for Psyche Inspired, my internship with NASA's Psyche Mission. "PsycheBot, Roll Out!" is a fully articulated action figure interpretation of the Psyche satellite. The satellite’s scientific instruments represented across her body make her an effective interactive learning tool, while her Transformers-esque appearance grabs the attention of sci-fi fans interested in real world science. Her boom pole “antennae” and solar array “wings” invoke the form of a butterfly, the goddess Psyche’s symbolic animal. You can learn more about the Psyche mission and Psyche Inspired at https://psyche.asu.edu/.
